Conceived as a collaboration track, King Makis first sent his demo to AwakeFM in June 2018 with the working title 'When the World Falls'. After giving it a neon-washed synthwave treatment, AwakeFM had the track published on Youtube via We Rule Nation and the song began to garner attention.

The track was then given to Sci-Fi author (and electronic music enthusiast) J.L. Forrest with a simple proposal: write a short story based on the artists' vision in the track. 20,000+ words later, and Forrest had created a stunning, dystopian world of despair, hope, superstition and adventure.

So, after months of communication and teamwork, the NiceFM fam is excited to bring you the entire collection of works, all free to stream, download and share. Enjoy!
